Domain SK, Slovak republic
Slovak domain of the highest level is labelled with SK abbreviation. Administrator of Slovak domain is company SK-NIC, a.s. For domain registration .sk it is necessary for future owner to have firm domicile in Slovakia*.
ZONER software, Ltd. for its customers, who do not have domicile in Slovakia, register .sk domains after conclusion of a contract with its branch ZONER SK. At the same time customer receives via e-mail certificate in PDF about owning the domain.

Rules for SK domain creation
- domain can include only signs [a-z, 0-9, -]
- length of domain is max. 63 signs
- minimal length of domain is 2 signs
- domain must not begin or end with sign "-"
- domain must not include two signs "-" after each other
- domain can be registered for 1 year
- domain can be elongated for 1 year
- domain can be registered only by person or firm with domicile in Slovakia*
Every domain name must be unique. It is not possible to register domain name identical with already registrered domain name.

Registrar change of SK domain
- change of domain .sk registrar is charged with yearly maintenance fee
- after registrar change, domain validity is prolonged in its expiration time for one year
- you will receive a form for registrar change in database SK-NIC, a.s.

* in case of customer not having domicile in Slovakia, we will register .sk domain for you with our Slovak branch ZONER SK. You will find registration rules of domain names for non-Slovak subjects in menu Help -> Rules. We will register your domain in two work days after settling the registration fee.
